Joe Testaverde Speaks at Camp Ramah

On August 23, 2006 members of the Testaverde Fund for Spinal Cord Injury, Inc. traveled to Camp Ramah, a religious co-ed camp.  An invitation was extended by Bruce Yaron, Director after he had seen the Fox 5 News video about our organization.

Joe Testaverde, his parents Anthony and Kathy and the fund’s director Joe Petrella traveled 2 ½ hours to the town of Pauling, New York so that Joe could give his insight and thoughts about his injury to approximately  350 teenagers.  After viewing our educational video, a question and answer session with the campers was spirited and informative and lasted over an hour.  At the end of the presentation, Joe received a standing ovation and rousing cheer of applause from the campers.  Camp Director Bruce Yaron also announced that Camp Ramah was to make a very generous donation of $500.00 to the Testaverde Fund for Spinal Cord Injury for our continuing efforts.
